Education" module is the first in this self-paced training program.
It is recommended that you start here,

be some new information for you.
The module
is divided into the following sections:
- Defining Distance Education:
This section presents different definitions of distance education and
included a "Recipe for Success" for you to jot down and submit
ideas about a distance education course you may be developing.
- Proposing a Distance
Education Course: This section
explains how to propose a distance education course to the college administration,
gives an example of a course proposal
form, and offers information to help you
with your distance education students.
- Timeline for Distance
Education Course Development: This page lays out a suggested one
year timeline for creating a new distance education course.
- Suggested Skills
Development Courses for Faculty:
This is a list of training opportunities available through University
of Florida departments that will help faculty develop technology skills
which will be useful for distance education courses.
