Home > Introduction > Suggested Training The courses listed below are offered by several units or departments at the University of Florida. The course titles are listed by Topic area. Please note that not all of the courses are offered every semester. They are provided to you solely as a resource. Please check the course schedule at the Web sites listed immediately below. The courses are provided in a variety of formats. Most IFAS Communication Services (ICS) courses are done in a two-hour workshop block. The Center for Instructional Technology & Training (CITT) courses are usually done in a two-day, two-hour block (four hours total). Again, please check the schedule of the respective training units. In addition to these regularly scheduled
courses, one-time presentations and workshops on issues relating to
distance education development and delivery (copyright, Internet privacy,
instructional design, student/teacher interaction) can be provided by
the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences' Teaching Resource Center.
These special programs are advertised throughout the year. They will
supplement the technology training provided through CITT and ICS. For
information on TRC programs, please contact Ricky Telg at rtelg@mail.ifas.ufl.edu
or (352) 392-0502.
